Under the partnership, part of Swegon’s ventilation products will be made available through Ahlsell’s extensive national network. In connection with the distribution partnership, Ahlsell and Swegon has entered into an agreement where Ahlsell will take over Swegon Norway’s business of traded goods including five of Swegon’s sales locations and the associated employees. “This agreement reflects Swegon’s long-term strategy of focusing on our core business while working with strong partners where it adds further value,” says Eva Karlsson, Group CEO at Swegon. “We have a well-established collaboration model with Ahlsell in Sweden, and applying a similar approach in Norway is a natural next step”. “As the market-leading distributor in the Nordics, Ahlsell is the ideal partner to scale our business and bring a relevant part of our product portfolio closer to customers across the country,” says Arne Håkon Burdal, Managing Director Swegon Norway. “This partnership creates significant opportunities for growth and greater market reach for Swegon in Norway.” “With Swegon’s ventilation products added to our portfolio, similar to what we already have in Sweden, we will create a unique offer on the Norwegian market enhancing our customer offering and reinforcing our market position.” says Runar Hansesætre, Managing Director at Ahlsell Norway. “We also look forward to welcoming the Swegon employees who will bring valuable expertise in the ventilation segment.” This partnership enables Swegon Norway to streamline its core business and concentrate on its strengths on system and solution sales, while ensuring broader accessibility to its products through Ahlsell’s national presence.
