With Swegon Group’s current Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Andreas Örje Wellstam, being appointed to the position of Chief Investment Officer at Swegon’s owner Investment AB Latour, the Board of Directors of Swegon Group has appointed Eva Karlsson as interim CEO as of February 1st 2026.
Eva Karlsson is currently Vice President for Swegon’s Business Area Air Handling, Cooling & Heating. Before joining Swegon in 2022, Eva has worked in multiple leading roles within manufacturing, product and business development, and she has also served as a Board member at Assa Abloy, part of Latour’s investment portfolio.
“As a member of Group Management, Eva has been an integral part of the positive development of Swegon Group, and with her extensive experience and knowledge, the Board and I have full trust in her ability to perform well as interim CEO”, says Johan Menckel, Chairman of the Swegon Group Board of Directors.
With the appointment to the position of CIO at Investment AB Latour, Andreas Örje Wellstam will continue in the Latour group, which he joined in 2010. Andreas later joined Swegon in 2012, and held five different positions in the Swegon Group management team before being appointed CEO in 2020.
